Over. A. Fence.
If you’ve been following along, you know our HOA board is suing us. Not because our fence is unsafe. Not because it’s ugly. Not because it violates city code — in fact, the City of Boise has come out twice on anonymous complaints and told us both times our fence is perfectly fine.
No, they’re suing us because our fence follows the exact same line it’s stood on since the early ’90s. The same line the developer originally built it on. The same line neighbors and landscapers have treated as the boundary for thirty years.
We’ve walked the fence line with board members, showed them the sprinkler systems on both sides, pulled out Google Earth photos from 2007, and even handed over letters from neighbors who’ve dealt with the same issue. At one point, the board even admitted they hadn’t known half of these details.
And yet — here we are. A lawsuit.
It’s exhausting, frustrating, and absurd. But we’re still here, still fighting, and still laughing where we can. That’s why we created this line of sarcastic, sassy swag. Because if you can’t laugh at the absurdity of being sued over a fence, what can you do?
The full story is coming soon. In the meantime, you can show your support (and your sass) by grabbing something from the collection below.Every purchase you make helps fund our defense against this frivolous lawsuit and proves that common sense should never get fenced out.
